The most common systems used in renewable future homes are photovoltaic and wind turbines.

Photovoltaic panels

Photovoltaic (PV) modules exchange sunlight into electricity PV modules also commonly referred to as PV panels, are made up of an associated group of PV cells to form a usable size and electricity output. They have no touching parts and are therefore dependable and require little maintenance. PV panels can be expected to last 20 years or more. Wind generators
